Over Kellet Playgroup provides high quality early years care and education for children from the age of two years until they start school.
We are based in Over Kellet Village Hall which is bright and beautiful with large garden areas for plenty of outdoor fun.
Our friendly, qualified and experienced staff work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop.
We have excellent staff to child ratios and a full-time Early Years Teacher. We follow the statutory framework for early learning called the Early Years Foundation Stage - the Parent's Guide to the EYFS is available at Playgroup.
Additional activities on offer include SuperBallPaul on Monday mornings, the Reading Fairy on Wednesday mornings and Cookery Club on Thursday afternoons.
Over Kellet Playgroup is registered with OFSTED. We are also a member of the Early Years Alliance.

EARLY EDUCATION FUNDING
EARLY EDUCATION FUNDING
Equal access is given to all families, regardless of their eligibility for Early Education Funding. Families can access funded sessions without paying for additional hours or services.
15 hours of Early Education Funding is available to ALL three and four year old children.
Most working families are entitled to an additional 15 hours, making 30 hours in total.
Many two year olds are also eligible for 15 or 30 hours of Early Education Funding.

Lunch is at 12(noon) - parents provide a packed lunch and a piece of fruit for snack-time
We also charge £2 for optional activities with the Reading Fairy & SuperBallPaul - just let us know if you wish to opt out of these activities / there is no charge for Cookery Club and there are no additional charges for consumables
We accept payment by Tax-Free Childcare and Universal Credit Childcare
MONDAY PRESCHOOL: Wilson's Endowed C of E Primary School (Over Kellet) runs a FREE school session for children in their preschool year in the second half of the autumn and summer terms. Playgroup staff walk the children up to school at 1pm and parents collect their child from school at 3pm. Please contact the school for more information (Tel. 01524 732097).
